Wheelchair Rental/Handicapped information

Charlotte Area Accessibility Information
Charlotte is a handicapped-accessible city, with all attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, museums and cultural centers providing handicapped parking spaces, ramps and elevators. Most private taxi and transportation companies will dispatch handicapped-accessible cars or vans upon request. Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) has a fleet of handicapped-accessible buses and vans that provide scheduled service and/or special service by reservation. ATM Information

There are two ATM machines at the convention center, both on the Street Level. One is located near the business center, and the other is located near Starbucks.

Business Center

The Business Center, located at the end of the College Street Concourse, Street Level, offers a full range of services, including copies, faxes, shipping, and computer access.

Concierge Desks

The center has two Concierge Desks, one at the entrance of the College Street concourse, and the other in the Second Street Entrance/Lobby. The convention center concierge is available to make restaurant reservations and provide information on local attractions.

Conference Session Recordings

Recordings of most conference sessions are available for purchase. Visit the NAB Store located in the East Prefunction area, Meeting Room Level.

Email Stations
Email stations are located next to registration on the Second Street concourse, Street Level.

Exhibit Hours

Exhibits will be located in Hall C2.

Wednesday, September 26: 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 27: 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Friday, September 28: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

First Aid

The First Aid Station is located on the exhibit hall level and will be open Wednesday-Friday, Sept. 26-28, 2007.

Food Services

The Charlotte Convention Center offers convenient, in-house dining in the College Street Café, located on the College Street Concourse street level, and concessions stands throughout the convention center. There are numerous restaurants within short walking distance of the Convention Center, including the Westin and Hilton hotels.

Housing Assistance

Housing Assistance will be located on-site at registration.

Meet and Greet Reception

There will be a meet and greet reception following Tuesday's registration opening from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Second Street Concourse, Street Level.

NAB Store

The NAB Store offers a wide selection of merchandise related to the broadcast industry including souvenir items, great gifts and clothing for adults and children. The NAB Store offers hundreds of publications on the broadcasting industry, from industry market data to financial information and emerging technologies. Publication Bins

Pick up your complimentary copies of your favorite industry publications! The bins will be located across from the Grand Staircase in the College Street Level.

Registration will be located in the Second Street Concourse, Street Level, this year.

There is a no smoking policy in the Charlotte Convention Center.
